Nancy + Steven Wedding (Part 2)

I finally have time to post the rest of the wedding pictures! Been so busy and lazy these days. Especially now that school had started. lol. Here is the rest of Nancy and Steven’s Wedding!

Time for the bouquet to be toss to the single girls in the room!

And the lucky girl was….. Sabrina!

That means, Sabrina’s bf, Mike needs to propose to her soon! hehee.

Now for Nancy and Steven’s first dance.

Awww. Look how sweet and happy they are.

Now the formal part of the wedding was over, Nancy, Steven, and their friends started going wild. This was when the real party began!

Nancy is all ready for some drinking! (Alcohol or Apple Cider?)

Nancy attempting to find out exactly what the bottle of “stuff” is called. lol.

My favorite photo of the day. Steven grabbing Nancy’s boobs while she’s asking about the bottle of “stuff.” ROFL.

The perfect couple, the perfect bride and groom! They look sooooo cute together.

The girls showing off their wedding and engagement rings! Wish I have one to show off.

Showing off their rings some more with their husbands behind them.

Nancy and Steven’s friends went nuts for alcohol and shared many toasts of shot (unavoidable = including me). One final shot to the newly weds!

P.S. Really sorry for the last post of pictures but will post them on Facebook soon after….

Nancy + Steven Wedding

Really sorry for the super late post! I have been very busy these past few month.

PLEASE DO NOT COPY AND POST THESE PHOTOS ONTO FACEBOOK. I WILL BE POSTING THEM ALL ON FACEBOOK SHORTLY.

Now on to the special day for Nancy and Steven! They also had a luncheon in NJ to celebrate. (I didn’t take any pictures at the luncheon.)

Nancy and I started the day early at 8:45am at the hair salon for our hair and makeup.

Nancy’s hairdo looks pretty but the makeup was so so. The person who did our makeup did a badass job. We look better w/o the makeup then with; even I can do a better job then her.

I didn’t even want to look at myself with the makeup on. I look like I got a pair of swollen eye. As for my hair, it looks blah from the front (because my curls are too tight and too short) and great from the back.

While I get my horrible makeup done. Nancy and her mom left to go back to their place to change into the proper clothing. By the time I arrive at their house, Nancy and Steven were already getting into the car! Damn. I miss my chance to “play the groom and the best man.” >.<

In the car with Nancy and Steven going off to Flushing for the banquet. Nancy is wearing a traditional Chinese wedding dress.

Nancy and Steven’s wedding ring. Ain’t it beautiful? (Nancy got a very flowery Calgel design on her nails. Ain’t that beautiful too?)

Wish I had a wedding ring like hers. I only had my Heritage Ring from Swarovski Crystals. (I also had Calgel on my nails but with a much simpler design.)

The banquet was held at Mulan Restaurant. It was located on the 2nd floor of Queens Crossing on Main Street and 39th Avenue in downtown Flushing.

Bridesmaid Dress Shopping

My friend, Nancy recently told me that she is getting marry and would like me to be her bridesmaid. I was extremely surprised and in shock but I was very happy for her. Congratulations to her and Steve. Being that the wedding banquet is October 23rd, there is not a lot of time for us to shop for my bridesmaid dress. So on Sunday, Nancy and I went shopping for my bridesmaid dress @ David’s Bridal.

This was the first dress I tried and and I loved it! Love the ruffles on it. It was a tight fit, a tad too small.

This dress was pretty too. I like the color and design of it. You can not really see my stomach sticking out but I would like it more if it was a little shorter.

I like the color and shape of this dress but it don’t look so good on me. I can see my stomach sticking out and it needs more sequin at the bottom of the dress.

Window Shopping at Bloomingdales

I went window shopping with Nancy at Bloomingdale’s. It was my first time going into a Bloomingdale’s. It was an alright experience. Everything was very expensive. She didn’t try anything on because nothing was her style but I did try on a few things…by Cynthia Steffe. I love all things with zippers so I tried these on:

I know I know. I’m no model. I know I look very stiff in the poses but it can’t be helped. Nancy took the pictures of me quickly and I wasn’t ready enough for it. I like the diagonal zipper on the side and that it’s one shouldered. I liked that my tummy wasn’t so visible. Cute?

I’m not one for orange dresses but this one really caught my eye. I think I should have tried a size smaller. The dress strap and chest area was too loose. They got zippers for the pocket. It was my favorite outfit out of the three. Pretty?

The shirt had nice zippers on the shoulder. Other then that there is nothing special about it. It’ll probably look nice on me if I tried a size smaller. If the clothing weren’t in the $200 to $300 price range each then I might have brought them. So what do you think? I want to know your thoughts and opinions on my outfits. Leave comments!!!

Kitchenette Restaurant

Nancy and I went to Kitchenette Restaurant for brunch. We went all the way to it’s uptown location in Amsterdam Avenue so we can go to Bloomingdale’s afterward.

The front of the restaurant is tiny but it’s actually not that small inside. They had yummy Bellini and Mimosa for $5 only but we didn’t want to drink liquor so early in the day.

The front of the restaurant had a bakery counter selling all sorts of sweets. I saw layer cakes, flaky fruit pies, large variety of hand decorated cookies, bars and cupcakes for the sweet tooth.

I had the Sweet Potato Waffle with brown sugar pecans and apple butter. The waffles were slightly crunchy and soft at the same time. The apple butter was very soft and light. With a hint of syrup the waffle and apple butter was a perfect match. The brown sugar pecan were alright. The sugar powder on top was a nice touch.  Rate: 4/5

Nancy had the Baked Vanilla Bean Brulee French Toast which was exactly what the name said it is. I tried a piece and it was divine! It was warm, chewy and soft, practically melting in our mouth. It was also giving us a homemade feel. Every bite was heavenly. Best french toast I ever tried. Rate: 5/5

But when we order a side of Homemade Turkey Sausage With Apples and Sage it was a totally disappointment. First off, there was no apple or sage! But it say there is on the brunch menu. Second off, it got to be the driest meat I ever had. It definitely tasted like turkey but it was way overcooked. Nancy and I can barely finish our small piece of it. Total waste of food. Rate: 0/5
